Vision Engineer (C#, Machine Vision)

Join an established global provider of semiconductor and electronics testing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Configure and integrate machine vision hardware, including cameras, lenses, lighting and machine I/O.
• Develop, test and optimise vision algorithms and inspection applications.
• Maintain, enhance and troubleshoot software using C# in Microsoft Visual Studio, including WPF applications.
• Support on-site installation, application setup, testing, customer buyoff and post-installation troubleshooting.
• Work with customers to understand requirements and deliver suitable vision solutions.
• Travel as required for project support.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Hands-on C# programming experience using Microsoft Visual Studio for machine vision applications.
• Relevant software development experience preferred; candidate with relevant projects or internship experience are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of WPF, Python, .NET Framework and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with HALCON HDevelop, Cognex VisionPro or other machine vision libraries is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and project coordination skills.
