Senior/QAQC Engineer (Main Con A1/Industrial Project)

Role Overview Manage quality assurance andquality control activities to ensure construction works comply with projectspecifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP), ensuring subcontractor plans align with company requirements. Monitor subcontractors’ Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure proper implementation. Conduct quality inspections and audits of materials and workmanship. Review and approve method statements, inspection checklists, test reports, and other quality documentation. Coordinate with site teams to resolve quality issues and monitor corrective actions. Assess and report on subcontractor and supplier quality performance. Manage defect rectification and support achievement of the required CONQUAS target. Maintain quality records and documentation for project handover. Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities, and train site personnel on quality procedures. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. 3–5 years of construction QAQC experience. Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, regulations, and quality management systems. Quality management certification, such as ISO 9001, is an advantage. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Meticulous, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
