PLC Software Engineer
Location: Jurong West/ West Region/ site Working days: 5 days Salary Package: Basic + Allowance + OT Pay + Bonus Responsibilities Lead SCADA/PLC/DCS projects from concept and design through programming, testing, and commissioning.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on control system design and process flow.
Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs.
Resolve electrical design and software issues with assembly and debugging teams.
Lead, coach, and supervise Control and Electrical Engineers.
Apply industrial communication protocols including Ethernet, Profinet, Profibus, and Modbus.
Work with PLC/HMI platforms such as Siemens, Omron, Allen-Bradley, and WinCC.
Oversee project documentation for new and refurbishment projects.
Independently conduct testing and commissioning locally and overseas.
Coordinate resources to meet project and service timelines.
Support IT/OT and IQ/OQ/PQ activities for new projects.
Travel locally and overseas as required and perform other assigned duties.
