About the company

• Job title: Operations Manager
• Company: MNC in waste management solutions
• Location: West region
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon–Fri: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Sat: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
• Benefits: $1,000 Transport Allowance + 1-month AWS, 12 days Annual Leave (scaling up to 16 days), 14 days Medical Leave

Your tasks

• Operations & Depot Management: Oversee daily activities at the Singapore office and depot to ensure safe, smooth, and efficient workflows.
• Fleet & Logistics Control: Manage the lorry/truck fleet, scheduling, utilization, routine inspections, maintenance, and breakdown resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, allocate work, and coach drivers and operational staff to meet target KPIs and maintain high safety/quality standards.
• Process Optimization & Compliance: Continuously improve operational workflows, manage depot materials/chemicals, handle on-site technical issues, and ensure strict safety and regulatory compliance.
• Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular operational and performance updates to management.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience, with proven operations management expertise in waste management, sanitation, environmental services, or a related industry.
• Core Competencies: Strong background in fleet management, vehicle maintenance, truck scheduling, and supervising operational staff.
• Personal Traits: Strong leadership, independent problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a willingness to be hands-on when managing field issues.
