Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Housekeeper role based in Tema. The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Daily tasks include making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, restocking supplies, and disposing of waste according to company standards. The role involves reporting maintenance issues, following safety and sanitation procedures, and using cleaning equipment and chemicals responsibly. The Housekeeper will work closely with supervisors and colleagues to meet quality standards, follow schedules, and support smooth facility operations.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, use of cleaning products, and safe operation of basic cleaning equipment. Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all assigned areas. Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to follow schedules and complete tasks efficiently. Ability to follow instructions, standard operating procedures, and health and safety guidelines. Basic communication skills to interact professionally with supervisors, colleagues, and clients or residents. Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks safely. Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or facilities cleaning roles is an advantage. Reliability, integrity, and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if required.
