Royal Terberg Group is growing and professionalizing. Our international activities require reliable Group reporting, uniform accounting governance and financial systems that support good decision-making.

As Group Reporting & Accounting Manager, you will lead an important pillar within Group Finance. In this senior management position, you combine technical depth with leadership and organizational development.

About Royal Terberg Group

Royal Terberg Group is a Dutch family business with more than 155 years of entrepreneurship. We develop, produce and maintain specialized vehicles and systems for logistics, ports and waste collection. With 55 legal entities, 4,000 employees and activities in 19 countries, we are internationally active, with our headquarters in IJsselstein.

Entrepreneurship, innovation and continuity characterize our organization. To support our international growth and further professionalization, we are also further developing our Finance function. We are strengthening processes, systems, governance and internal control, while simultaneously broadening our management information from financial KPIs to the most important financial and non-financial value drivers. New technologies, including AI, offer opportunities to design processes more intelligently, deepen insights and give Finance a stronger role in decision-making and value creation.

Your mission

As Group Reporting & Accounting Manager, you will build a reliable, scalable and future-proof reporting and accounting function for Royal Terberg Group. Your primary mission is to strengthen Group reporting, consolidation, external reporting and accounting governance. You will ensure reliable management information, clear frameworks and a controlled reporting and close cycle, so that the Group can have consistent financial and non-financial information and can better manage based on the most important drivers of value creation. You report to the Group Finance Director.

You will lead the professionals within reporting, accounting and financial systems and bring direction and cohesion to processes, systems, responsibilities and quality standards. In doing so, you will work intensively with divisional finance teams, Sustainability, IT and the external accountant.

From this integral responsibility, you will provide direction to the further development of OneStream and related financial systems. Additionally, you will safeguard the quality, control and consolidation of ESG data from a Finance perspective. Sustainability remains the substantive owner of the sustainability policy and the reporting content.

Your mission focuses on four interconnected results:

Reliable Group reporting: you ensure timely and high-quality consolidation and reporting of actuals, forecasts and budgets.

Strong accounting governance: you develop and safeguard uniform accounting policies, controls, definitions and responsibilities within the Group.

Scalable processes and systems: you accelerate and standardize the close and reporting cycle and deploy technology, automation and AI with purpose to make processes and information provision more reliable, efficient and better scalable.

A future-proof team: you develop professionals, strengthen collaboration within Finance and stimulate responsible use of AI and data, so that the team combines ownership, quality and continuous improvement with new ways of working.

In doing so, you not only deliver reliable reports, but you build the financial infrastructure that Royal Terberg Group needs to continue to grow and professionalize internationally.

What do you bring?

You are an experienced finance leader with a solid background in Group reporting, consolidation and accounting. You possess the technical authority to assess and provide direction to complex issues, but also keep an eye on practical applicability and progress. At the same time, you look ahead and see how data, technology and a broader view of performance can further strengthen the Finance function.

You feel at home in an international multi-entity organization in which entrepreneurship and local responsibility go hand in hand with Group-wide standards, transparency and governance. As a leader, you give professionals space to deploy their expertise, while being clear about priorities, responsibilities and quality standards.
