Production Engineer
About the company
The Bottelarij in Lieshout is growing: higher volumes, more product complexity, and ambitious quality goals offer plenty of opportunities to perform even better structurally. That is why we are introducing the role of Production Engineer: the connecting link between production, technical service, and projects. You have technical insight and enjoy working together with people on the shop floor. You ensure that problems do not recur, processes are streamlined, and improvements truly take root.
Your tasks
- You identify structural problems through failure analysis, coordinate RCAs (root cause analyses), and ensure that improvement plans (A3) are actually realized. In doing so, you guide and coach the Technical Operators.
- You are the gatekeeper from production towards Technical Service, Engineering, the design office, and other related departments.
- You lead small projects and modifications, guide production during large projects, and are the fixed point of contact between production, TD, and project teams.
- You guide the introduction of new products and packaging, safeguard MOC principles (Management of Change), and work together with the packaging technologist on improvements in packaging.
- You are the first point of contact for non-daily issues, take over the daily meetings in the absence of the production leader, and manage the processing program.
- You provide technical training and instructions and ensure a good transfer of knowledge, installations, and work instructions.
Requirements
This is you
- You have a completed HBO education (for example, Mechanical Engineering, Process Technology, or Technical Business Administration) with several years of relevant work experience, or an MBO4 education with technical insight and at least 10 years of relevant work experience in production, technology, or projects.
- You are strongly analytical and have a persistent, dynamic personality with which you bring about change. You safeguard structure, MOC mindset, and operator care in an increasingly complex brewery.
- You have knowledge of continuous improvement and Lean principles and apply these in practice.
- You are communicatively skilled, connecting, structured, and have an affinity for technology. You switch effortlessly between operators and management, remain resilient in difficult situations, are result-oriented, and are visible on the shop floor.
- You speak good English and preferably also German.
