Front Desk Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a *friendly, professional, and reliable Front Desk Customer Service Representative* to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest service and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately.
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, modifications, and guest inquiries.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to guest requests promptly.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts.
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, transportation, and local attractions.
  • Respond professionally to guest concerns and resolve service issues whenever possible.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required front-desk reports.
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping and management regarding room status and guest requests.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front-desk area.
  • Complete assigned duties during the shift, including building rounds when required.
  • For night-shift employees, assist with laundry duties and ensure assigned overnight tasks are completed.
  • Prepare and submit shift reports at the end of each shift.
  • Follow hotel safety, security, and operating procedures.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • *1 year of front-desk, hotel, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.*
  • Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
  • Professional telephone and in-person communication.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel PMS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous when dealing with guest concerns.
  • Previous hotel front-desk experience is an asset.
  • Night-shift, weekend, and holiday availability may be required.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 ? 40.0 per week
