Maintenance Expert

for new Utilities & Buildings Team (day shift - 40 h) Millions of consumers all over the world enjoy Leerdammer cheese every day. Therefore, it is of great importance that our cheese production always continues to run. However, without steam, compressed air, cooling, and energy, our cheese production comes to a standstill. Because we are bringing the management and maintenance of these crucial facilities in-house at our production location Schoonrewoerd, a new Utilities & Buildings team is being formed - within our existing Maintenance organization. In this team, there is still room for a Preventive Technician. Your function As an experienced Maintenance Expert, you ensure the optimal availability of our Utilities within the Schoonrewoerd plant. In this role, you are the mechanical and electrotechnical expert for, among other things, our steam, cooling, and compressed air systems, as well as building-related installations such as our E-installations and the fire alarm and sprinkler installation. A versatile and broad function for which specific mechanical knowledge is required. Through the analysis of malfunctions, you are able to identify root causes. You translate your findings into sustainable improvement plans for maintenance, reliability, and availability. Additionally, you make an active contribution to technical projects, CAPEX proposals, and the implementation of new or modified installations. The principle of 'Good Maintenance Practices' is leading in your work. You focus on maintenance costs and prioritize safety and quality, actively driving towards them. You work closely with our Production and Maintenance departments, but also with suppliers and project teams. You know how to provide technical guidance and coaching to your colleagues, and you play a role in training Monteurs and Stagiairs. The newly to be established Utilities & Buildings team consists of a total of 7 people: a Teamleider U&B, a Maintenance Planner, an Energy Coordinator, a Preventive Technician, two Service Technicians, and a Maintenance Expert. In your role as Maintenance Expert, you report to the Teamlead Utilities & Buildings. Your profile To be eligible for this position, you possess the following characteristics: You have an HBO level of working and thinking acquired through education and/or experience

You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience as a monteur, storingsmonteur, or expert in the field of Utilities such as cooling, steam, HVAC, and compressed air technology, and knowledge and experience with E-installaties

You have an affinity with a production environment and preferably experience in food or dairy

You are practical, analytical, and communicative, and have experience with project-based working

You have sound knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies to ensure that major disruptions are prevented

You have experience in guiding and coaching (new) monteurs

You have experience with SAP PM or equivalent

You have a highly developed safety and quality awareness

You have a good command of the Dutch and English language
