The team The finance team in the Netherlands consists of 35 colleagues divided across the sub-departments: Accounts Payable, Banking, Credit Control, Finance & Control, Cost Control and Invoicing. The credit control team currently consists of 4 colleagues; due to replacement, we are looking for a new colleague to join and strengthen our credit control team.

Your tasks

What will you do as a Credit Controller

• You will have telephone contact with our B2B debtors and take action regarding unfulfilled payment obligations, according to established procedures. You are continuously informed about the status of your portfolio and you know what is happening;
• Reducing the DSO by monitoring the agreed payment terms and informing debtors regarding unfulfilled payment terms;
• Resolving (complex) disputes on outstanding invoices in collaboration with various stakeholders (Commercial Manager, Account Manager);
• Following and managing initiated collection procedures;
• Providing periodic management overviews regarding debtor positions;
• Analyzing the creditworthiness of new debtors and coordinating with Customer Service and Commercial regarding the next steps to be taken.

Requirements

The ideal candidate

• A completed MBO education in Financial Administration;
• Experience with Excel is a requirement, knowledge and experience with Trust-it / Exact is a plus;
• You are a team player, enthusiastic, communicative, solution-oriented, and you have good analytical thinking skills;
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written;
• And good digital skills, including Microsoft Office.
