In brief Integrated into the Safety & Sizing pole of the Technical Direction of Roxel France, you are responsible for the smooth technical progress of the projects entrusted to the Department, ensuring compliance with contractual commitments and fixed cost objectives. You must also ensure that development costs are minimized by limiting the use of tests and reducing the number of design loops.

🔧 Your missions ⚙️ You perform or oversee the services related to your field of expertise: mechanics, thermal and/or aerothermodynamics,

You establish and maintain the simulation plan (performance demonstration plan) and provide the theoretical justification elements for engine definition using simulation models (finite element method and ABAQUS/FLUENT calculation codes),

You define, if necessary, the mechanical or thermal tests required to characterize the physical properties of materials, in connection with the Materials department,

You propose the instrumentation to be implemented for the tests, in connection with the Design department, and analyze the results,

You contribute to the sizing of engines and propose appropriate definition improvements by consulting the appropriate subject matter experts,

You participate in the analysis of engine operation, in understanding singular or unexpected phenomena, in the analysis of induced risks and in proposing modifications when possible,

You participate in the process of researching, proposing, and validating the calculation methods and codes best suited to current and future sizing needs,

You apply the instructions and procedures related to the Environmental Management System (Environmental Policy (EP); Significant Environmental Aspects (SEA)...) as well as industrial and defense security rules in the fields of scientific computing and technical documentation.
