Senior QA Officer

Roveg Fruit B.V. is an international trading company specialized in exotic vegetables and fruit from all over the world. Within our organization, the Food Safety department plays an important role between import, quality, and commerce. To expand our team, we are looking for a motivated new colleague!

What will you do?

You are the driving force behind our food safety and product quality. In this role, you bridge the gap between abstract procedures and daily operations.

• Closely monitor the handling, storage, and processing of our fresh fruit and vegetables.
• Conduct regular quality, hygiene, and process audits directly in the warehouse and operational areas.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal standards.
• Support and actively participate in both internal and external audits. You are fully comfortable being present on the bustling audit floor.
• Identify and report deviations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Work closely with warehouse, logistics, and operations to maintain high standards.
• Maintain quality records and documentation when needed.

Who are you?

• You have at least 3 years experience in food safety, quality control, or a similar role in production, logistics, or fresh produce environment.
• You have a hands-on, pragmatic mindset—you thrive on the operational floor and love engaging with the team.
• You are a self-driven professional who anticipates needs and takes action without needing direction.
• You have a structured and accurate way of working, are reliable and solution-oriented.
• You have strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in German is considered a big plus. You have your own transport to travel to our location in Waddinxveen...
