Technical Buyer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• You are responsible for the international procurement of electronic and mechanical components as well as functional assemblies (e.g., robots, furnace systems)
• You coordinate technical requirements between the design departments and project planning
• You create general specifications for components and aggregates in cooperation with sales and the design departments
• You conduct negotiations with suppliers and ensure deliveries meet expectations and maintain an appropriate price structure
• As a sub-project manager for purchasing, you take responsibility in order processing and support the planning of more complex offers
• You carry out inspections of machine components at the suppliers
• You optimize procurement processes and identify potential savings
• Materials requiring planning are permanently monitored and dispatched by you regarding stock levels
• Searching for, selecting, evaluating, and developing suppliers is also part of your tasks

What you bring with you

• You have successfully completed technical training or further education, preferably with additional qualifications in the field of procurement
• Ideally, you bring professional experience in technical purchasing
• Good written and spoken English skills distinguish you
• You are proficient in using MS Office as well as SAP ERP (MM, PS, and PP)
• A structured and goal-oriented way of working, negotiation skills, communication and teamwork skills, as well as assertiveness, round off your profile
