Head of Development Projects (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• You are responsible for the development and implementation of product or technology development projects and, within this framework, carry out the necessary tests on our laboratory facilities
• You lead teams that change depending on the project, take over the coordination of laboratory occupancy, and take care of the procurement of the raw materials, auxiliary materials, and operating materials necessary for the tests
• For pre-sales and after-sales, you prepare offers for tests on the laboratory machines
• You describe and document the financial R&D expenditures and take care of applying for external research allowances
• Supporting the team in the project management of customer orders is also part of your tasks

What you bring with you

• You have a successfully completed degree in the field of mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification
• You have professional experience in project management, ideally in mechanical and plant engineering
• You have knowledge in the field of fiber composite materials (production, structure, properties); knowledge in the field of processing sheet-like materials (including coating, impregnation, folding) is also desirable
• Analytical thinking and innovative strength characterize you
• You are proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Good application skills in MS-Office, good communication skills, initial experience in leading teams, as well as an independent and goal-oriented way of working round off your profile
