Development Engineer (m/f/d) - Special Purpose Machine Construction -

Your tasks

• You develop concepts and functional principles for machines and systems in our Roth Composite product program (especially the Filament-Winding division)
• With your expertise, you contribute to the continuous development of our technological level and ensure that we are always one decisive innovation step ahead of our competitors
• You create designs for machines and systems according to customer requirements
• You perform calculations and designs in accordance with valid standards and guidelines
• You create 3D models and assemblies
• You prepare bills of materials and technical documentation
• You carry out risk analyses for developed systems
• You bear responsibility for deadlines, costs, and quality of your development projects
• Continuous close coordination with colleagues from manufacturing, purchasing, electronics, and sales, as well as a constant focus on cost optimization (Design-to-Cost, Design-to-Manufacture), are also part of your tasks

What you bring with you

• You have a successfully completed degree in the field of mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification (e.g., development/design/materials technology)
• You bring several years of professional experience in design and calculation, ideally in the field of special purpose machine construction/Composite technologies, and are familiar with common technical regulations and standards
• Ideally, you have knowledge in using Creo Parametric
• Analytical thinking, creativity, and innovative strength characterize you
• You are proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Occasional business travel poses no difficulty for you
• Good application skills in MS-Office, teamwork skills, as well as an independent and goal-oriented way of working round off your profile
