Project Controller

2.2.1 Educational Level:

• Civil Engineer, Architect or related career.
• Studies or postgraduate degree in Project Management.

2.2.2 Experience:

• 5 years in positions related to the inspection, supervision of civil works, maintenance and remodeling.
• Proven experience in construction control (unit price analysis, valuations, closing statements, schedules),
• Basic knowledge of processes in industrial plants and laboratories.

2.2.3 Skills and Aptitudes:

• Express and communicate correctly in oral and written form.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Ease of expression and interrelations.
• Availability to visit client facilities.
• Availability to travel throughout Venezuelan territory.
• personal, both with superiors, coworkers and with clients.
• English language proficiency: reading, writing and conversation.
• Leadership based on the ability to provide knowledge to the work teams they join. Facilitator in the learning of others.

2.2.4 Technical Knowledge:

• Mastery of AutoCAD, Excel and Microsoft Project programs.
• Mastery of the English language (not limiting)
• Knowledge of basic engineering standards regarding construction (civil works in general). Analytical capacity, leadership, constant preparation and updating, organizational capacity, empathy, proactive, management of information and suppliers, decision making, assignment of responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices standards. Knowledge of the Law and Regulation of Public Procurement.
• Knowledge of basic engineering standards regarding construction (civil works in general). Analytical capacity, leadership, constant preparation and updating, organizational capacity, empathy, proactive, management of information and suppliers, decision making, assignment of responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices standards.
• Knowledge of the Law and Regulation of Public Procurement.
• Management of Safety, Hygiene and Industrial Health standards.

2.2.5 Functions:

1. Personnel administration for the execution of works.
2. Inspect, verify and approve the tasks and works to be carried out in a specific facility, following the guidelines of good engineering practices.
3. Coordinate activities prior agreement with subcontractors every time a respective activity or work begins in the facilities.
4. Determine the quantities of work executed on site according to the budget.
5. Request approval of the works from the client through a formal writing.
6. Prepare or manage as-built drawings of the necessary disciplines.
7. Keep the record and control of the progress of activities in the facilities and report them weekly to their superiors.
8. Fill out the record and control of the facilities, through the construction diary.
9. Keep a photographic record of all activities carried out in the facilities on a weekly basis.
10. Development of plans to improve quality control processes in facility supervision.
11. Development of after-sales service for the facilities sold by the company in conjunction with the executive sales unit.
12. Public relations management with clients.
13. Comply with the policies and procedures of the organization, maintaining ethical and professional behavior at all times.
14. Comply with assigned tasks in a timely and proper manner with good performance in their functions and responsibilities.
15. Participate in training and professional development activities and likewise contribute to teamwork and a positive work environment.
16. Comply with occupational safety and health standards and contribute to the achievement of the organization's objectives and goals.
