As part of a direct placement, we are looking for a Hardware Designer (w/m/d) for our client.
Tasks:
- Hardware Planning: You are responsible for the timely and cost-optimized planning of hardware equipment as well as the design of controls and switchgear.
- Schematic Creation: You create, document, and revise circuit diagrams using Eplan P8 (including Fluid and P&ID).
- Standard Adaptation: You precisely adapt control concepts to national and international specifications.
- Interface Management: You closely coordinate technical functions with mechanical design, process technology, software development, and technical sales. Additionally, you coordinate the interfaces to third-party machines and existing plant components.
- Project Support: You support commissioning in the plant as well as at the customer's site and actively work in interdisciplinary project teams.
- Development & Master Data: You develop machine controls for new and existing machines, calculate the hardware, and maintain the entire machine inventory, including bills of materials and spare parts data, in SAP.
Qualifications:
- Qualification: You have technical training with further training as a technician in the field of electrical engineering, a completed degree in electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Professional Competence: You bring sound experience in the planning of machine controls as well as in the confident use of Eplan P8 (incl. Fluid and P&ID).
- Regulations: You are familiar with current machinery directives, safety standards, and risk analyses, as well as relevant international regulations.
- IT Skills: Using MS Office is standard for you; knowledge of SAP is an advantage for this position.
- Communication: You have good written and spoken English skills and are characterized by strong teamwork skills.
- Flexibility: A willingness to undertake occasional business trips completes your profile.
