Team Lead Purchasing (m/f/d), Full-time, Coburg (Head of Purchasing)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Head of Purchasing (m/f/d) in full-time at our Coburg site as soon as possible.

What we wish for from you:

As Head of Purchasing (m/f/d), you will lead and organize a team of currently three employees. You are both commercially and technically proficient to ensure smooth processes within your area.

Your task in the team:

• Leadership and organization of the Purchasing department
• Procurement of tools, capital goods, energy, and fleet
• Contract and condition negotiations
• Support of the subordinate employees (m/f/d) in day-to-day business
• Development and implementation of purchasing strategies
• Analysis and monitoring of the procurement market regarding improvement potential
• Implementation of organizational and optimization projects in procurement
• Selection, auditing, and evaluation of suppliers

What you should bring with you:

• Successfully completed degree in business administration or engineering with a focus on materials management, purchasing, or Supply Chain, or a comparable vocational training
• Experience in the field of purchasing, ideally in a plastics processing company
• Strong technical understanding
• Leadership experience
• English in spoken and written form
• Flexibility, resilience, analytical thinking, communication and negotiation skills, as well as a structured, careful, and independent way of working
