The company

Le Black Sheep is a bar-restaurant located in the heart of Val-d'Isère, a renowned international resort in the Alps. We welcome French and international clientele in a friendly and dynamic atmosphere throughout the winter season.

For the 2026/2027 season, we are looking for an experienced cook to join our team.

Your missions

As part of our kitchen team, you will notably be responsible for:

• Preparing and making the dishes on the menu in compliance with the establishment's recipes and standards.
• Ensuring the mise en place before services.
• Ensuring the quality, presentation, and consistency of preparations.
• Respecting hygiene and food safety rules (HACCP).
• Participating in the cleaning and maintenance of the workstation and equipment.
• Working effectively in a team during periods of high activity.

Profile sought

• You have at least 2 years of professional experience in cooking.
• You are autonomous, organized, and capable of working effectively under pressure.
• You enjoy teamwork and dynamic environments.
• You are serious, punctual, and motivated.
• Fluent English is indispensable, due to our international clientele.
• Experience in mountain catering or seasonal catering is appreciated.

Conditions

• Seasonal CDD from mid-November 2026 to end of April 2027.
• 42 weekly hours, spread over 6 days.
• Remuneration: 15 € gross/hour.
• Shared accommodation included.
• Meals provided during working days.
