Data Governance Specialist
Informatica Tool: Configure and manage Informatica DEI, DES, Axon, EDC, and IDQ to build and maintain the business glossary, data dictionary, and automated data lineage.
Data Quality & Profiling: Design data quality rules, monitor metrics, run profiling jobs, and manage remediation workflows to fix data anomalies.
Metadata & Lineage: Map end-to-end data lineage across cloud and on-premise data sources (e.g., AWS, Databricks, SQL Server, Oracle) to support auditability and compliance.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with data stewards, data domain owners, and IT/engineering teams to bridge business requirements with technical configurations.
Compliance & Privacy: Ensure adherence to global and local data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, or regional data laws).
Enablement & Training: Lead data governance workshops, draft training materials, and drive user adoption across business and technical teams.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: Hands-on experience in data governance, data management, or data quality roles.
Informatica Expertise: Proven experience implementing and administering Informatica CDGC, Axon, EDC, and/or IDQ .
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, SQL, relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Certifications: Active Informatica IDMC or related data governance certification is a strong plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to bridge technical data pipelines with business executives
