IT Operations ensures that warehouse technology works reliably every day. We take care of devices, infrastructure, and user support, and we are constantly looking for ways to increase operational efficiency through automation and modern technologies.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are launching a brand-new warehouse and are looking for an IT Specialist who will ensure from day one that all technologies function reliably and without downtime.

You will not be taking over an established environment. You will be among the first IT team members at the new location and will help build the warehouse's technical background – from installing devices through their configuration to setting up processes for daily operational support.

Your work will have a direct impact on order picking speed, dispatch accuracy, and the smooth running of the entire warehouse. What you set up at the beginning will form the foundation of the warehouse's operation for years to come.

During the first 1–2 months, you will undergo training in Prague, after which you will move to the newly opening warehouse, where you will be part of its launch and daily operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

WAREHOUSE DEVICE MANAGEMENT

• Install, configure, and manage Zebra mobile terminals, barcode scanners, thermal printers, packing stations, information screens, and computers.
• Diagnose and resolve both hardware and software issues.
• Provide user support for the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Coordinate device repairs with external suppliers.

OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

• Respond quickly to incidents and minimize operational downtime.
• Assist pickers, packers, and shift leaders in resolving technical problems.
• Ensure the recording, allocation, and return of warehouse devices.

BASIC NETWORK MANAGEMENT

• Perform basic checks of the warehouse network infrastructure.
• Assist in troubleshooting Wi-Fi issues, printer connectivity, or mobile terminal outages.
• Escalate more complex network problems to the specialized IT team.

DOCUMENTATION AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

• Maintain up-to-date device records and IT documentation.
• Participate in improving processes and implementing more efficient solutions.

COLLABORATION

• Work closely with Warehouse Operations and more experienced IT specialists to resolve technical issues.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

MUST-HAVES

• You have at least 1–2 years of experience in IT support or very good technical knowledge of hardware.
• You are familiar with Windows, Android, and the basics of computer networks (Wi-Fi, DHCP, routing basics).
• You are not afraid of working directly in a warehouse environment.
• You can communicate with users and enjoy finding practical solutions.
• You can communicate in English.

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Experience with Zebra devices, PDA terminals, or thermal printers.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience with mobile device management (Intune, SOTI, SimpleMDM, or other MDM solutions).
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi or RF network diagnostics.
• Experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
