Job Description

What you will do As a Process Operator at ROCKWOOL, you will operate and monitor the machines used to manufacture high-quality stone wool insulation products and building panels. Together with your colleagues, you will make sure the production process runs safely, efficiently and according to the required quality standards. You will work in a 3-, 4- or 5-shift schedule, depending on the department and production process.

Your responsibilities include:

  • operating, setting up and adjusting production machinery;
  • monitoring the production process and adjusting machine settings when needed;
  • identifying and resolving process deviations and technical issues;
  • carrying out quality checks and measurements;
  • recording relevant production and quality information;
  • helping your team achieve daily production targets;
  • keeping your workplace safe, clean and organised;
  • suggesting improvements to increase safety, quality and efficiency.

This position offers more than routine machine operation. You will take responsibility for the production process and help prevent downtime, quality issues and unsafe situations.
