Investment Research Intern (Part-time, Class of 2027)
About the role
Rocksolid Value invests its founder's own capital for the long term in a few outstanding businesses, mainly in China and Singapore. We are looking for a final-year student graduating in 2027 to join us as a part-time Investment Research Intern. Strong interns will be offered a full-time Investment Analyst role after graduation.
What you will do
- Collect and organise 10-year financial data from annual reports in Chinese and English
- Help build financial models for our holdings and watchlist
- Summarise quarterly and annual results and company announcements
- Support company research and present findings at a weekly review
- Help with simple company administration and document filing
Requirements
- Final-year student in accountancy, finance or business, graduating in 2027
- Available 2–3 days a week during term, with flexible hours around your classes
- Good accounting foundations and Excel skills
- Fluent in Mandarin, spoken and written, and able to read Chinese financial reports. Mandarin is the founder's daily working language and most of the companies we study report in Chinese. English is used for external work
- Genuine interest in long-term value investing, and honest and self-driven: you will often work independently
