Tasks, Competencies, and Responsibility

• Responsibility for the quality inspection of components, assemblies, and subsystems, thereby actively ensuring our high quality standards
• Carrying out visual, dimensional, and functional tests using modern and common measuring and testing equipment
• Careful documentation of inspection results in the CAQ-System as well as initiation of suitable measures in the event of identified deviations
• Carrying out incoming goods and in-process inspections according to defined quality and testing specifications
• Close cooperation with manufacturing and logistics to process quality-relevant issues quickly and in a solution-oriented manner
• Active participation in error and root cause analyses as well as evaluation and follow-up of suitable corrective measures
• Participation in decision-making committees and support in the professional evaluation of quality deviations
• Planning and creation of internal first article inspections as well as processing of construction deviations
• Carrying out inventory controls and supporting the assurance of correct stock levels
• Professional escalation of serious quality defects to the responsible group and department management as well as demand-oriented involvement of the GPS

Professional Requirements

• Successfully completed technical vocational training as well as initial practical professional experience in a technical or manufacturing environment
• Ideally existing further training or qualifications in quality management
• Initial knowledge and a good understanding of quality, testing, and manufacturing processes
• Confident handling of technical drawings as well as basic experience in handling common measuring and testing equipment
• Strong quality awareness as well as a careful, structured, and reliable way of working
• Enjoyment of working in a team as well as strong communication skills, sense of responsibility, and initiative
