Tasks:

• Independent examination and evaluation of requirements and needs of the specialist departments
• Planning, execution, and management of national and international tenders
• Creation of inquiries, quotation comparisons, and purchase orders in accordance with internal guidelines
• Execution of market and competitor analyses in the national and international procurement environment
• Establishment, maintenance, and further development of supplier relationships including identification and qualification of new partners
• Preparation, execution, and follow-up of supplier negotiations
• Creation and evaluation of quotation matrices as well as examination of commercial and technical content
• Close cooperation with project procurement as well as interdisciplinary teams
• Continuous needs analysis and derivation of suitable procurement strategies
• Identification and implementation of cost reduction potentials
• Participation in the further development of strategic purchasing goals
• Ensuring compliance with processes, guidelines, and compliance requirements

Requirements:

• Completed degree with professional experience in purchasing or completed vocational training and sound practical experience
• Strong technical understanding and high affinity for technical products
• Good knowledge of contract law as well as a structured, legally oriented way of thinking
• Very good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing, other foreign languages an advantage
