The content: improving processes and optimizing machines

You support production and technology in improving processes around coating and packaging. You ensure that machines are correctly set up and function optimally.

You combine technical analysis with presence on the shop floor and translate theory into practice.

Specifically:

• You set machine parameters correctly and optimize them in relation to the product and process.
• You reconfigure machines and ensure a smooth transition during product changeovers.
• You analyze processes and detect inefficiencies or deviations.
• You develop technical improvements and implement them on the shop floor.
• You support the startup of new products (NPD) and ensure the correct adjustment of machines.
• You work closely with production, technology, and R&D in developing process optimizations.
• You guide employees and provide clear explanations about settings and working methods, without managerial responsibility.
• You are regularly present on the shop floor to monitor, adjust, and improve processes.

You ensure that processes not only work, but are efficient, stable, and reproducible.

• You have a master industrieel ingenieur
• You have strong technical knowledge of machines and production processes

• You communicate fluently in Nederlands, Frans, and Engels
• You are hands-on and enjoy being present on the shop floor
• You can guide colleagues and provide clear explanations, without the need for a managerial title
• You work in a structured manner and maintain an overview in complex processes
• You take initiative and want to continuously improve processes
