Be the subject matter expert who handles technical inquiries and supports Roche Diagnostics' diagnostic products (NGS), ensuring exceptional service quality and system availability for our global customers.

Your Opportunity As a Technical Specialist in the Regional Customer Support Center, you will:

  • Provide technical support: Ensure the availability and quality of Roche Diagnostics' diagnostic products (NGS) for national and international customers.
  • Act as an expert: Offer advanced troubleshooting and expert support for complex technical problems related to our sequencing products.
  • Handle inquiries: Process telephone and written inquiries from customers and Roche employees in the EMEA-LATAM regions.
  • Collaborate on complaints: Record and process complaints in cooperation with country affiliates and global units.
  • Conduct training: Perform employee training both in the Customer Support Center and on-site at customer locations.
  • Monitor service processes: Monitor service processes to ensure product/system quality and maintain high standards.

Who You Are

  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree or higher in electronics, engineering, computer science, or a similar technical field; or completion of vocational training as a mechanic, medical technician, or similar.
  • Professional experience: Initial to several years of practical experience in the installation, assembly, repair, and/or testing of electromechanical devices (e.g., from professional practice, working student positions, or internships).
  • Technical knowledge: Familiarity with diagnostic products and NGS technologies/workflows.
  • Communication skills: Effective communication, data presentation, organization, and prioritization.
  • System knowledge: Preferred familiarity with Linux and Windows system administration and networks.
  • Willingness to travel: Motivated and flexible to travel to European countries.
  • Market knowledge: Understanding of the IVD market and scientific background in genomics and oncology.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to quickly analyze problems and present appropriate solutions.
  • Team player: Enjoy working in an intercultural team and being a reliable contact person for customers and colleagues.
  • Language skills: Fluent English. Knowledge of German and/or other European languages is an advantage.
