At the Management location Mannheim/Penzberg, we are a team of well over 1,300 specialists providing various infrastructure and professional services for the Mannheim and Penzberg sites. In a dynamic environment, we promote seamless collaboration across business units and functions, offer innovative solutions, and improve the working environment for employees at the Mannheim and Penzberg locations - where we actively shape the future.
Responsibilities | What to expect from you
In this role, you will take responsibility for leading and developing the team in the area of Building Safety at the Mannheim location. You will ensure the availability of all safety-relevant building security technology systems, such as fire alarm systems, and make a significant contribution to operational safety and the protection of employees through proactive risk management.
Furthermore, you will take on the following exciting tasks: * Team Leadership: You lead and coach your team according to the Roche Leadership Principles and promote a culture of continuous development and feedback. * Resource Management: You are responsible for deployment planning and prioritization within your team to remain operational at all times, even under changing conditions. * Strategic Alignment: You break down the vision of Future Site Now to your team and actively help shape the transformation towards modern site management. * Operational Safety: You ensure the high availability of security systems and act as a guarantor for compliance with all regulatory and internal safety specifications. * Interface Management: As a collaboration driver, you work closely with other specialist departments and ensure seamless communication between project teams and management. * Technical Excellence: You support your team as a subject matter expert in complex issues and set the course for innovative solutions in security technology.
Qualifications | What you bring to the table * You have successfully completed a degree (Bachelor/Master) in a relevant field or training with several years of further education (Technician/Master Craftsman) and bring many years of experience in building automation or security technology. * You possess sound leadership experience and know how to motivate people, promote their strengths, and create an environment for a Growth Mindset. * You think entrepreneurially and are able to prioritize complex requirements and make efficient decisions in the interest of the site strategy. * You bring strong digitalization competence and enjoy making processes future-proof through new technologies. * You speak English at a business level and generally possess excellent communication skills. As a team player, you are able to work effectively with various stakeholders and convey complex relationships in an understandable way. * You view occasional business trips, primarily between our locations in Mannheim and Penzberg, as an enrichment.
