The Position

The Position:

As a System Scientist (m/f/d) in the Design Evaluation and Prototyping department, you will coordinate the central aspects of the system core in our development projects. In doing so, you will make a direct contribution to the implementation of our vision: improving the quality of life for patients worldwide. You will combine technical requirement analyses with innovative manufacturing processes and ensure that our electrochemical sensor systems meet the highest performance and quality standards. Through your work, you will help develop groundbreaking diagnostics and lay the foundation for a healthier future – together.

Your new team:

You will become part of our dedicated team in the area of Design Evaluation and Prototyping. We work at the interface of various departments and develop complex diagnostic solutions. As a System Scientist, you will manage multidisciplinary interfaces and work closely with experts from R&D, Medical and Operations. Your areas of responsibility:

Your mission is to oversee the requirements for the system core, identify optimization potential, and drive prototype production forward on schedule. In doing so, you will undertake the following exciting tasks: * You will closely coordinate the design and manufacturing processes of different configurations of electrochemical sensor system modules with the specialist departments to optimally achieve project goals. * You will manage the interfaces of all involved specialist departments to balance influences and ensure maximized system performance. * You will coordinate the timely production of development and prototype samples of electrochemical sensor systems. * You will be responsible for GMP-compliant documentation and initiate the creation of all necessary development-accompanying documents in the regulated environment. * You will actively contribute your expertise to the development of technically challenging systems and keep your knowledge up to date in a dynamic process environment.

What you bring:

We are looking for a solution-oriented and communicative personality who enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration and complex system projects. You bring the following qualifications and skills: * Successfully completed Master's degree (M.Sc.) related to medical devices. * Sound professional experience in the development of medical devices in a regulated environment. * Very good knowledge in construction, electrical engineering and programming. * Knowledge in electrochemistry as well as in the manufacture of electrochemical sensors, supplemented by solid knowledge of biochemistry, is an advantage. * Proven experience in configuration management as well as in manufacturing and development-accompanying documentation (specifically for clinical trials). * Experience in developing optimization strategies as well as in collaborating at interfaces with R&D, Medical, Operations and external partners. * Fluent English skills in speaking and writing for confident exchange in international project contexts. * Strong social competence, communication skills, negotiation skills and the ability to motivate others.
