Treasury Manager
Robert Walters is working with a well-established international organisation to recruit a Treasury Manager into their Group Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced treasury professional to take ownership of the day-to-day treasury function, whilst also playing a key role in improving processes, systems and reporting across the business.
Managing a team of two, this is a broad and hands-on position, with responsibility for cash management, liquidity planning, foreign exchange and banking relationships. The successful candidate will work closely with senior finance stakeholders, providing valuable insight to support commercial decision-making and wider business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the Group's day-to-day treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity planning, banking and payments.
- Lead and continually improve cash flow forecasting and liquidity reporting, providing clear and meaningful insight to senior stakeholders.
- Manage the Group's foreign exchange exposure and hedging programme, ensuring appropriate controls and governance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with banking partners and financial service providers.
- Oversee treasury systems, banking platforms and associated controls, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Partner closely with Financial Control, FP&A, Tax and wider business teams to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Play a key role in treasury transformation, process improvements and system enhancements, including supporting acquisitions and business change.
- Lead, mentor and develop two direct reports.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Treasury Manager who enjoys a broad role, combining hands-on treasury operations with opportunities to drive improvements and influence the wider business.
Ideally, you will have:
- Strong corporate treasury experience, including cash management, liquidity planning and banking operations.
- Experience of developing and improving cash flow forecasting and treasury reporting.
- Good knowledge of foreign exchange management and hedging programmes.
- Experience working with treasury management systems and banking platforms.
- Previous people management experience, with the ability to develop and support a small team.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and commercially minded approach.
- An ACT, accounting or equivalent treasury qualification would be advantageous, although not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established international business in a role offering real ownership and visibility across the Group. You will have the opportunity to shape and improve treasury processes, work closely with senior finance leadership and contribute to wider transformation initiatives.
The position would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, but equally wants the opportunity to influence how a treasury function operates and develops.
