Your tasks

This permanent position (CDI) will allow you to fully leverage your expertise and have a real impact on the organization.

As the right hand to the DAF Europe, the General Accounting Manager will be responsible for:

• The preparation and control of tax declarations, customs declarations, and royalties for three entities.
• The control and reconciliation of general ledger accounts for two entities.
• The production of monthly reporting (provisions, payroll entries, margin analysis, and commentary) for two entities.
• The preparation of tax returns and the preparation of audit files for the statutory auditors.
• The management of accounts receivable and the validation of credit releases.
• Technical support to the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams, by optimizing processes and organization.
• The role of referent / Key User during an ERP change.
• The drafting and updating of accounting documentation (procedures, work instructions).
• Monitoring and following legal accounting and tax obligations.
• The implementation of company policy, objectives, and procedures.

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience, available 1 day per week.
• Fluent English (not necessarily bilingual), adapted to an international environment.
• Minimum DECF level.
• Proficiency in SAP, ideally SAP S/4HANA, with experience as a Key User.
