Your tasks

I am looking for an experienced Interim L&D Manager to lead an exciting period of change within a People function, helping shape the future of Learning & Development and drive a more strategic, organisation-wide approach to development.

Reporting to the Director of People, you'll play a key role in stabilising and developing the existing team, coaching a newly promoted Lead Trainer and working closely with the Organisational Development Partner to align learning with the organisation's wider strategy and workforce plan.

  • Review and reshape the existing L&D function, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve effectiveness.
  • Evaluate current training programmes, including induction and role-specific training, and develop a clear, future-focused learning strategy.
  • Explore more engaging and flexible delivery methods, balancing e-learning with face-to-face and blended learning.
  • Coach and develop the Lead Trainer, supporting their transition into management.
  • Review training impact, delivery costs and value for money to ensure learning meets organisational needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced L&D professional to make a tangible impact, refresh established ways of working and help shape the future of learning and organisational development.
