Our client, a leading international business with a strong growth trajectory, is seeking an ambitious Internal Auditor to join their expanding assurance team. This is far more than a traditional internal audit role and offers the opportunity to play a key part in improving processes, strengthening controls, enhancing governance, and influencing positive change across a complex organisation.

This position would suit a first-time mover from practice or an experienced auditor looking to broaden their skillset beyond audit reviews. You will gain exposure to risk management, compliance, controls frameworks, investigations, and wider business assurance activities while working closely with senior stakeholders across the group.

Key responsibilities of the Internal Auditor:

• Deliver risk-based internal audit reviews across finance and operational functions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, mitigate risk, and strengthen internal controls.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to implement practical, value-adding recommendations.
• Support the development and enhancement of the internal audit and assurance framework.
• Assist with the design and execution of the annual audit plan.
• Contribute to risk management, compliance, and governance initiatives across the organisation.
• Review policies, procedures, and controls to ensure they remain effective and fit for purpose.
• Produce clear, insightful reports with commercially focused recommendations.

Key essentials of the Internal Auditor:

• ACA-qualified (or equivalent).
• Experience gained within external audit, internal audit, risk, or assurance.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
