Robert Walters is partnering with a highly successful organisation to recruit a commercially focused Finance Analyst into its growing finance function.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who enjoys working beyond the numbers, challenging commercial decisions and influencing business performance.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide financial insight across advertising, revenue generation and wider commercial activities, helping the business understand where to invest, improve profitability and maximise growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop financial models and projections to support revenue planning and commercial decision-making.
• Partner with non-financeCommercial stakeholders and operational teams to evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assess the financial effectiveness of promotional activity, customer initiatives and commercial investments.
• Produce detailed financial analysis to support strategic projects and investment proposals.
• Monitor business performance against expectations, highlighting trends, risks and potential opportunities.
• Prepare regular financial updates for senior management, translating complex data into meaningful recommendations.
• Support commercial negotiations through financial modelling, scenario analysis and profitability assessments.
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, strengthen reporting and improve overall business performance.

About You

• Previous experience in commercial finance, FP&A, financial analysis or a similar analytical position.
• Strong Excel capabilities, with experience building financial models and interpreting large datasets.
• A commercially minded approach, with the ability to understand how financial decisions influence wider business objectives.
• Experience working with non-finance stakeholders and communicating financial information effectively.
• Confident challenging assumptions and providing constructive recommendations.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive and inquisitive personality, comfortable working in a changing business environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, combined with the ability to focus on the bigger picture.
