Supply Chain Director

About the company

A major player in the industry is seeking a Supply Chain Director in Walloon Brabant to oversee procurement, logistics and stock management operations from the main site. Reporting to the Executive Committee, you will ensure the performance, reliability and efficiency of supply chain flows in a demanding environment.

Your tasks

As Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Overseeing and coordinating all supply chain activities
• Developing strategies to improve performance, resilience and service levels
• Maintaining and developing strong partnerships with suppliers and logistics providers
• Implementing best practices in planning, forecasting and stock management
• Natural leadership and the ability to develop the team's talents

Requirements

• Experienced supply chain manager with leadership experience, preferably in the heavy industry or chemical sector
• A proven track record in optimising complex supply chains
• Excellent commercial and negotiation skills
• Adaptable, pragmatic and capable of delivering rapid results
• Ability to motivate, mentor and develop teams
