Dispatcher

What will you do?

• You process transport orders and ensure correct follow-up from A to Z.
• You create the daily planning for both own drivers and external transport partners.
• You monitor the execution of the trips and intervene quickly when problems or delays occur.
• Via Transics, you maintain contact with the drivers and guide them where necessary.
• You follow up on deviations in loading and unloading times and communicate this to the customer in a timely manner.
• You correctly register additional costs in TAS.
• In case of operational problems, you think along, analyze the situation, and look for a practical solution.
• You check purchase invoices and support the invoicing process.
• Additionally, you take on various administrative tasks within the team.

Who are we looking for?

• You are willing to work in shifts: from 6am to 2pm/2:30pm or from 10:30am until the end of the working day (min. 6:30pm).
• You are a strong communicator and feel comfortable with frequent telephone contact.
• You are digitally skilled and pick up new software and systems quickly. Experience with TAS and Transics is a plus.
• You are stress-resistant and can switch quickly when the planning changes unexpectedly.
• Multitasking and setting priorities are second nature to you.
• You have a practical mindset and do not wait around when a problem needs to be solved.
• You work accurately and have a good administrative mindset.
• You are social, collegial, and enjoy working together in a compact team.
• A diploma is a bonus, but for us, motivation, common sense, eagerness to learn, and a sense of responsibility are especially important.
• You have a good knowledge of English.
• Knowledge of one or more Eastern European languages is an extra asset.
