Order Fulfillment & Supply Chain Specialist

Robert Half is currently looking for an Order Fulfillment & Supply Chain Specialist (m/f/x) for an international company.

Our client is located in the Aalst region and is easily accessible by public transport. You will join a dynamic, international working environment where collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement are central.

Your responsibilities

As an Order Fulfillment & Supply Chain Specialist, you are responsible for the smooth processing and follow-up of international orders from customers and distributors.

Your package of tasks includes:

• Receiving, analyzing, and processing incoming orders within the ERP system;
• Checking orders for completeness, correctness, and quality of data;
• Managing and supplementing customer, order, and master data;
• Coordinating the entire order fulfillment process from order to shipment;
• Acting as a central point of contact between various internal departments such as Sales, Customer Service, Credit Control, Supply Chain, and the distribution center;
• Releasing, scheduling, and following up on orders to guarantee timely delivery;
• Monitoring service levels and proactively identifying and resolving potential delays;
• Supporting process optimizations and actively contributing ideas for improvements within the supply chain processes;
• Preparing and analyzing reports in Excel.

Your profile

• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree, or are equivalent through relevant experience;
• You preferably have initial experience within order management, logistics, customer service, or supply chain;
• You work accurately and have strong analytical thinking skills;
• You are solution-oriented, proactive, and dare to take initiative;
• You feel comfortable in an international environment and switch smoothly between different stakeholders;
• You have a good knowledge of Excel and are willing to deepen your knowledge in reporting and analyses;
• Knowledge of ERP systems is an asset;
• You communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus;
• You maintain an overview, even when deadlines follow each other closely.
