Interim Global Head of Credit Control

6-Month Interim Opportunity - Global Head of Credit Control & Collections - London

I'm currently supporting a global organisation in its search for an experienced .to lead a business-critical programme focused on improving working capital, accelerating cash conversion and enhancing collections performance across multiple international markets. This is a high-profile interim assignment for a commercially minded finance leader who can quickly identify opportunities, drive change and deliver measurable improvements in cash flow performance.

Central London (2 days per week) 6-Month Interim Contract £400 - 500 per day Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive global improvements in DSO, overdue debt, aged debt and cash collection performance
• Establish collections governance, KPIs, reporting standards and operational best practice
• Lead and influence international credit control and collections teams, including shared service operations
• Partner with Commercial, Sales, Operations and Finance leadership to remove barriers to cash collection
• Manage complex customer disputes, high-risk receivables and strategic account escalations
• Improve forecasting accuracy, credit risk management and working capital performance
• Deliver continuous improvement initiatives across the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process

What We're Looking For:

• Significant leadership experience within Credit Control, Collections or Accounts Receivable
• Ideally MICM qualified
• Proven success managing international or global collections functions
• Strong understanding of working capital optimisation and credit risk management
• Experience working with shared service and outsourced delivery models
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior and executive leaders
• A track record of delivering tangible improvements in cash collection and operational performance
