2nd LoD Monitoring & Testing Manager - AML and Financial Crime
You will bring practical execution experience across the following areas:
- Execute risk-based Compliance Monitoring and Testing assurance activity across key Financial Crime disciplines, applying testing methodologies appropriate to the scope and objectives of each assessment.
- Evaluate whether first-line controls are appropriately constructed, embedded and operating as expected across CDD/EDD, sanctions, transaction monitoring, third-party risk, governance and management information.
- Distil complex control weaknesses and regulatory matters into clear, balanced messages suitable for senior management and governance committees.
- Evaluate the Design and Operational Effectiveness of the key AML and Financial Crime Controls.
- Support the development of MI and cross-review analysis to identify recurring control weaknesses, risk patterns and developing areas of concern.
- Help shape both annual and ongoing assurance priorities by providing intelligence on changing risk exposures, regulatory expectations and emerging themes.
- Build effective relationships across the business, providing appropriate challenge while preserving the objectivity and independence expected of a 2nd Line Monitoring and Testing function.
Experience of performing EWRA's is a plus.
