GO13514771 Data Engineer (3 months Project)

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to support a 3-month project focused on building and supporting a data pipeline and data integration solution within an AWS environment.

The role will focus on data ingestion, processing, transformation and integration, working closely with technical teams and stakeholders across the project.

Candidates who are available to start at short notice will be prioritised.

The Role

• Build and support data pipelines to ingest, process, transform and integrate data across multiple systems
• Develop data flows using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS and EventBridge
• Work with SQL and relational/NoSQL databases to support data storage and processing
• Implement data validation, error handling, monitoring and troubleshooting
• Support system-to-system data integration, including APIs where required
• Assist with testing, deployment and documentation of the data solution
• Collaborate with technical teams and project stakeholders

Your Profile:

• 6+ years' experience in Data Engineering / Data Integration
• Proven experience building and supporting data pipelines
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, particularly S3, Lambda and messaging/event services
• Strong SQL skills and experience with databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL or DynamoDB
• Experience with data ingestion, transformation and integration
• Experience with Python and/or C#/.NET in a data engineering environment
• Good understanding of data quality, validation and troubleshooting
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent Mandarin and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
• Available to start at short notice for a 3-month contract
