The Company
Our client in the oil & gas industry is currently seeking a 1-year contract Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team.
The Role
The role is responsible for financial planning and analysis, including monthly financial reporting, P&L and Opex dashboards, variance analysis, and budgeting, while partnering with business leaders to drive financial performance and profitability.
Key responsibilities include developing financial models, conducting business and data analytics, monitoring costs and capital expenditure (Capex), and supporting strategic reviews, investment evaluations, and profit improvement initiatives.
The role also drives continuous improvement through process optimisation, automation, technology adoption, and enhanced reporting capabilities, while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen business performance, support informed management decisions, and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial and non-financial reporting.
Your Profile
We are seeking a Financial Analyst with Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business, or a related field, or a professional accounting qualification, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, or data analytics.
CA or CPA qualification is preferred. Candidates should possess strong analytical and conceptual skills, a sound understanding of financial reporting and financial management principles, and preferably good knowledge of IFRS and local statutory requirements. Familiarity with ERP and reporting systems is advantageous, while knowledge of sustainability reporting requirements, including local and European standards, as well as an interest in data analytics and AI tools, will be an added advantage.
