Project Buyer M/F

Your role as a Project Buyer M/F will be to identify and negotiate with suppliers to obtain goods and services at an optimal price.

Missions

Project Management & Supply Chain

• Be the Supply Chain point of contact for Services projects (SR and/or TX)
• Drive the Supply Chain action plan to guarantee:
• on-time delivery (OTD)
• quality (NCR)
• cost control
• compliance with contractual commitments
• Work in close collaboration with the Project Manager Department and the entire project team

Purchasing & Sourcing

• Act as a project buyer, responsible for the Source to Pay process
• Prepare and manage RFQs, negotiate with suppliers, and place purchase orders
• Monitor supplier execution until final delivery and invoice payment
• Lead supplier KOM (Kick-Off Meetings) and secure schedules

Supplier Management

• Manage and develop a high-performing and up-to-date supplier panel
• Collaborate with Regional Commodity Leaders to:
• Ensure alignment of qualified GE suppliers with Services needs
• Contribute to business cases for new suppliers or framework agreements
• Coordinate with Supplier Quality for inspections and documentation

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (BAC+5) in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Project Management
• Minimum 10 years of experience in purchasing / sourcing / supply chain in an industrial projects environment
• Proven experience in supplier management and negotiation

Languages

• Fluent English is essential

• TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) approach
• Good technical knowledge of Hydro equipment (or equivalent industrial environment)

Conditions and Benefits

Salary: €40,000 - €42,000 Gross Annual
