For one of our clients based in Bremen, we are looking for a Technical Buyer (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date. The entry is via temporary employment, whereby you will receive a permanent employment contract from Robert Half. Tasks:

• Operative procurement and order processing for defined technical product groups
• Ensuring material availability and on-time delivery from suppliers
• Checking specifications, drawings, and inquiries for completeness
• Negotiation with suppliers regarding prices, delivery dates, and other purchasing topics
• Coordination with production, development, and quality management
• Maintenance of master and transactional data in SAP and other systems
• Support for strategic procurement in product group strategies
• Clarification of differences, complaints, and deviations
• Participation in optimization and purchasing projects

Requirement Profile:

• Completed commercial training
• At least 5 years of professional experience in technical industrial procurement
• Experience in an international procurement environment
• Confident handling of SAP and MS Office
• Good to very good English skills
• Experience in supplier negotiations
