In this position, you will provide technical leadership to sub-teams in the field of analog ASIC design and steer the development of next-generation energy management solutions for the automotive industry. Furthermore, you will lead complex ASIC development projects and be responsible for the entire lifecycle – from technical coordination in the acquisition and design phase to final series release.

As a specialist in Power Management, you will develop innovative concepts and circuits for Power Management ICs (PMICs) as well as System Basis Chips (SBCs). In close cooperation with internal and external partners, you will develop new functions for ASIC circuit blocks as well as novel circuit concepts and methods. Last but not least, you will harmonize solutions and approaches within the project team as well as with customers or system architects and actively support junior engineers as a mentor.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completed university degree in electrical engineering or a comparable course of study, ideally with a focus on microelectronics or semiconductor development
• Experience and knowledge: Several years of professional experience in the development of analog mixed-signal ICs; expertise in power management with a focus on the design of DC/DC converters, buck-boost regulators, LDOs, gate drivers, and current-sense amplifiers (CSAs); sound application know-how in the field of automotive smart power (e.g., system-IC, PMIC); proficient use of industry-standard EDA tools, especially in the Cadence Virtuoso environment; experience with hardware description languages such as Verilog-A
• Personality and working style: You take responsibility for overall success, set clear priorities, and use resources efficiently; you prioritize common goals over individual interests and have a positive impact on your working environment; you recognize and promote individual strengths within the team; you see challenges as opportunities for further development and shape sustainable learning processes
• Languages: Very good written and spoken English skills; German skills are an advantage

• Remuneration: According to our regulations, the gross annual salary for this position based on a 35-hour week is at least 88,000 EUR (for full-year employment and fulfillment of the eligibility requirements according to the collective agreement) upon comprehensive performance of the duties. Additionally, there is individual, performance-related remuneration, a success-dependent bonus, and employer benefits for the Bosch pension fund.
