Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Product Configurator (m/f/div.)

Job Description:

• In this role, you will integrate electrical components and functions into our product configurator in a timely and resource-efficient manner.
• You will translate technical requirements into clear rules, conditions, and logically structured system architectures.
• Your responsibilities include the independent updating and maintenance of products, components, and associated documentation, as well as the analysis and rectification of errors in the production system through targeted troubleshooting.
• Furthermore, you will provide support for the product configurator, monitor system performance, and create meaningful statistics.
• The coordination of input data with EPLAN forms the basis for automated and efficient schematic generation.
• You will analyze and document software errors at an early stage and coordinate closely with IT for sustainable resolution.
• Last but not least, you will work closely with Design, Development, and Production, thereby contributing to optimal results within the team.

Qualifications:

• Education: completed advanced training as a Techniker:in Elektrotechnik or a comparable qualification
• Experience and Know-how: several years of practical experience in electrical engineering – particularly in schematic creation and switchgear construction; proficient use of SAP R/3, MS Office, and EPLAN; programming knowledge is an advantage
• Personality and Working Style: You work in a structured and solution-oriented manner with a high degree of personal responsibility; thanks to your analytical mindset, you act foresightedly and proactively, communicate clearly, and value teamwork; you maintain a confident overview even in demanding situations
• Languages: good English, both spoken and written
