Job Title: ASIC Development Engineer Test (f/m/div.)

Job Description: The future of mobility depends on the precision and reliability of state-of-the-art radar systems and semiconductor solutions. You are needed to ensure the quality and performance of our innovative products. You will design test procedures that take our ASICs, SoCs, and radar systems to a new level, thereby defining the standards of tomorrow. • You define precise test requirements and test concepts that serve as the foundation for the quality assurance of our cutting-edge radar systems as well as Automotive ASICs and SoCs.
• You create detailed test plans and test specifications to comprehensively validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of our products.
• You develop and implement innovative test programs on automatic test equipment (e.g., Advantest V93k) to ensure efficient and reliable test execution.
• You realize tests for novel ASICs in the automotive and semiconductor sectors and support the validation of complex radar and HF systems, while also designing ATE hardware such as loadboards and probe cards.
• Using statistical methods, you analyze test and measurement data on wafers, packaged components, and at the system level, identify optimization potential, and derive concrete recommendations for action.
• You verify test programs and ATE hardware, grant releases for series production, and support the transfer to international production sites, while continuously optimizing the test development environment.
• You actively maintain exchange with internal and external stakeholders, coordinate cooperation with development sites, service providers, and suppliers, and drive projects forward in a targeted manner to ensure quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education: completed university degree in electrical engineering, information technology with a focus on microelectronics, or a comparable field of study
• Experience and Know-how: experience in the test and/or product development of semiconductors, ASICs, SoCs, or radar systems; experience in handling automatic test equipment (ATE) and associated tools; solid knowledge in measurement and circuit technology as well as programming experience; deep understanding of statistical data analysis and confident handling of corresponding evaluation methods
• Personality and Working Style: you succeed in communicating complex technical issues clearly and concisely; you act independently, in a structured and goal-oriented manner, and promote an open review and feedback culture; you are a team player and are characterized by a confident manner with different stakeholders; you drive projects forward successfully and balance technical, economic, and schedule requirements; even in demanding situations, you work in a solution-oriented manner and maintain an overview
• Daily Work: willingness for occasional business trips as part of international cooperation
• Languages: very good English in spoken and written form; good German is an advantage
