How We Use AI in Development
AI is an integral part of our development workflow. We use AI tools to help developers:
- Write & Refactor Code: Generate code, improve existing implementations, and explore alternative solutions.
- Debug: Investigate errors and identify potential fixes faster.
- Testing: Generate draft unit tests and test scenarios.
- Documentation: Create initial technical documentation and code explanations.
- Learning: Understand unfamiliar technologies, libraries, and parts of the codebase.
We believe AI makes good developers faster — but it does not replace engineering judgment . Developers are expected to understand, review, test, and take full ownership of the code they ship.
What Success Looks Like in the First 6 Months
- Become comfortable with our codebase, development tools, and Git workflow.
- Successfully develop and maintain features across both Angular and .NET .
- Deliver features and bug fixes with decreasing levels of supervision.
- Use AI tools effectively to improve development speed and productivity.
- Consistently review and validate AI-generated code before deployment.
- Improve technical depth in C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, SQL Server, and software architecture .
- Contribute positively to the development team and participate effectively in code reviews and technical discussions.
