Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and executing electrical building services to meet project specifications and standards
- Perform cable sizing and voltage drop calculations to ensure electrical system safety and efficiency
- Support project planning by scheduling tasks and coordinating manpower to meet deadlines
- Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and clients to facilitate smooth project delivery
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and power turn-on activities to verify system functionality
- Prepare material take-offs and contribute to tender and estimation processes to support project bids
- Monitor project progress and provide timely updates to the Project Manager for effective decision-making
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of local electrical codes (SS 568, SS 560) to ensure compliance with regulations
- Experience in cable sizing, earthing, and lightning protection system design for safe electrical installations
- Experience in cost estimation or tender preparation processes to support project bidding
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software for preparing electrical drawings and documentation
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and take responsibility in project tasks
