Nutrition & Food Science Assistant (School)

We are seeking a responsible and organised Nutrition and Food Science Assistant to support kitchen preparation, cleanliness and daily operations.

Job Description

• Prepare ingredient trays for Nutrition and Food Science (NFS) practical lessons and examinations.
• Maintain cleanliness of two NFS kitchens, including work surfaces, equipment, sinks and waste bins.
• Assist with ordering food ingredients, kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Monitor ingredient stock and expiry dates, and clean refrigerators twice yearly.
• Wash and fold kitchen towels and aprons and report kitchen defects to the Operations Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Preferably have secondary education.
• Preferably 1 year of experience as a Food and Consumer Education (FCE) Kitchen Assistant in a secondary school.
• Able to maintain kitchen cleanliness and organise ingredients and supplies.

• Contract Period: 1 Jan 2027 to 31 Dec 2028
• Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 7:30am–4:30pm, inclusive of 1-hour lunch break
• Location: East, Singapore
• No Service Required: 3 weeks June Holiday, 8 weeks for December Holidays. (Salary will be prorated according)
