Must-have:AI

Responsibilities:

Own the posting calendar across Instagram and Facebook feed, Stories, multiple posts a day during season Write captions in our voice Concept campaigns and monthly themes, then brief the Creative AI Specialist with enough detail that they can execute without a second conversation Actively engage off our page, find the posts and communities where our customers are already talking (tumbler collections, home, everyday Black life, the husband-who-doesn't-get-the-collection jokes), leave comments that are funny and specific enough that people click through Watch what performs and tell us what to make more of.

Requirements:

A nerd. Not a general-purpose marketer. Someone genuinely obsessed with social media and AI — the kind of person who was already playing with these tools before it was a job, who sends friends things they made for fun. I've hired for skill and missed on this, and it never works out. Self-starting. I'll give you themes, brand context, and direction. I can't give you a daily task list. Take it and run. Fluent in social without being taught. You should already know what works and what falls flat on each platform. I shouldn't be explaining why a post won't land. Unafraid to experiment. AI work is iterative and often ugly for the first few rounds. Someone who gives up after two bad generations won't make it here. Detail-obsessed. Our product is our product. Wrong colorway, wrong lid, sloppy crop, typo in a caption — these are the things that make me stop trusting the work. Ships instead of over-engineering. I've worked with brilliant people who complicated simple requests. Bring your ideas, tell me when you think I'm wrong, then execute what we agreed on. Good judgment about when to ask and when to just go. Fast, or getting faster. Season starts now. I expect a learning curve; I don't expect a long one. Feels the brand. Gets why these designs matter to our customers and creates from inside that, not from a brand guide.

Tools:

Native platform tools for Instagram and Facebook you know what each one rewards and what gets suppressed Claude or ChatGPT for caption drafting and concepting Comfortable enough with AI to sanity-check creative work before it posts

What good looks like:

Nothing sits in drafts. The calendar is full a week out. You bring the idea, not just the execution. "Halloween, husbands vs. tumbler collections, carousel, here's the brief" should come from you. Traffic from engagement is measurable and growing.
